How can Dr. Morris help my baby’s colic?

Dr. Morris has successfully treated colic in hundreds of newborns and infants. Often the result of birth-related cranial compressions, Dr. Morris’ gentle hands-on treatment works to release these compressions and cranial imbalances. By treating the underlying cause of discomfort rather than the symptoms, the pain and pressure are resolved and babies are at ease to sleep, eat and nurse normally.

Dr. Morris is Pediatric Board Certified and treats his patients with a unique combination of traditional Western Medicine and specialty training in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is a holistic, non-invasive approach with no side effects. This approach allows Dr. Morris to work with his hands to resolve blockages, imbalances, fissures to the soft tissue, and impediments to the flow of circulatory system fluids.

Dr. Morris's success is based on his ability to develop highly individualized therapeutic plans that draw from a broad spectrum of integrative modalities. Dr. Morris takes the time needed to understand each child’s complete medical background and how it influences and contributes to the current medical condition. Dr. Morris is currently the only traditional osteopath in New Jersey with Board Certification in Pediatrics.

If appropriate, Dr. Morris will work with families to coordinate pediatric care and evaluate other therapies, diet, educational issues, exercise habits, and any behavioral or social concerns.
